Alanna Soupen.

Alanna is a Project Analyst at Synergia with skills in quantitative and qualitative research methods, literature reviews and policy analysis.

She completed her Master’s thesis on the influence of wealth, income inequality and health systems on potential years of life lost from chronic diseases in the OECD. Since starting at Synergia, Alanna has been working on a range of evaluations, including the Health, Quality and Safety Commission’s Safe Use of Opioids Collaborative and ACC’s Pain Management Service Demonstration. Alanna also has had key roles in supporting a service review for a division of the Auckland Regional Public Health Service and a formative review for the Waitemata Police.

In the past, Alanna has supported a number of different research projects at the University of Auckland related to obesity prevention and best practice food policies.
