BSC in Microbiology and Public Health, BA in Economics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health

Gerry is a Project Analyst at Synergia. She is based in our Auckland office.

She has a BSC in Microbiology and Public Health, BA in Economics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health with Distinction from the University of Otago, including an exchange at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Synergia in March 2018, Gerry has worked as a research assistant at the New Zealand Institute of Community Healthcare, the Southern Cancer Network/South Island Alliance Programme Office, and Nurse Maude in finance and business development.

She is interested in achieving an equitable and efficient health system, and has a particular interest in aged care. Her projects at Synergia include evaluations of ADHB Fit for the Future, the Rataora SBIRT tool, and 3D HealthPathways. Gerry’s roles in these projects have included quantitative data analysis, engaging with stakeholders and project co-ordination.

Outside of Synergia, Gerry is a member of the National Council of Women Auckland branch, Rotary Club of Mt Eden and has just started to learn to play bridge.
