Jessica is a Project Analyst at Synergia. She is based in our Auckland office.
She has a Bachelor of Health Sciences with Honours from the University of Auckland and is currently working towards her Master’s in Public Health.
Jessica has supported and been involved with a number of evaluations at Synergia, including qualitative analysis for the evaluation of Manawanui Whai Ora Kaitiaki for Hauraki PHO, the Whakakotahi primary care improvement challenge for the Health Quality and Safety Commission, and is currently working on the Fit for the Future evaluation for the Auckland DHBs.
Jessica’s Master’s is centered around the Neighbourhood Health Care Homes model of care in Northland and will be evaluating the model from a patient perspective with regards to experience and access to care. Her areas of interest are patient experience and using experience to inform improvements in service design and delivery and reducing health inequities through improved access to care.
Jessica is currently a tutor for Population Health at the University of Auckland in Health Systems. She has an active interest in music and teaches piano to young children on the weekend.
