Sarah is a Principal Consultant at Synergia. She is based in our Auckland office.

Sarah is an experienced evaluator having worked on an evaluation team at The University of Auckland (School of Population Health, Health Systems Department) and as an internal evaluator, most recently at Emerge Aotearoa a national provider of mental health and social services, before joining the Synergia team in 2017.

Sarah blends evaluative thinking and practice with real world practicalities, drawing on operational experience and project management experience in health and social services. Sarah has strengths, experience and a passion for using evaluation to develop services alongside provider agencies. Job satisfaction comes from co-creating insights through evaluation to support better outcomes for people as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Sarah provides Project Management and supports all aspects of evaluation activity, working with a utilization focus and drawing on the benefits and tools of mixed methodology. Since joining Synergia Sarah has used these skills and her operational experience to deliver on a range of projects in community mental health and wellbeing, accident rehabilitation, co-design and other quality initiatives for DHB, PHO and ministry clients.

Out of work Sarah enjoys the quiet life in Titirangi and the beaches and bush of West Auckland.
